Mallorca is a popular tourist destination throughout the entire year, although springtime is a particularly lovely time to visit the island. Below, we give you a few suggestions for our favourite spring plans:
Explore the beaches: Mallorca is renowned for its beautiful beaches. Visit them before the high season, when it is more crowded with tourists. Some of the most popular beaches are Caló des Moro, Cala Agulla, Cala Millor, Cala Mondragó, Es Trenc and Playas de Muro.

Take a hike: The island has a large number of routes with impressive views for all levels. Some of the best-known trails are Puig de Galatzó, la Serra de Tramuntana and Camí de s’Arxiduc.

Visit Mallorcan towns: There are so many picturesque towns that merit a visit, including Valldemossa, Deià, Sóller and Pollença. Stroll their narrow streets, soak up the sights, including historic buildings, and savour the local cuisine.

Get out in nature: This is the perfect season for enjoying the island’s flora and fauna. You can visit the Botanical Gardens in Sóller, to see a large variety of plants and flowers, or Raixa. Other favourites are Mondragó Natural Park and s’Albufera Natural Park, with its birds and other wild animals.

Take part in local activities: Mallorca is rich in culture. For example, Sant Jordi (or Saint George) Day, on 23 April, is known as the Day of Books and Roses, when booksellers and rose vendors set up stalls on the streets. There is also an art fair in Palma in May. And, in June, a medieval fair in Capdepera.

These are only a few of the plans you can make in Mallorca while you stay at Can Vidal. There are many other activities to explore, so you can discover what you like the best.
